With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Connie Rios (Chico, California), born in Bakersfield, California, who passed away on August 5, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delfina Valero Meza and Elias Hinojsa Estrada; her husband John Rios; and her siblings, Maximino, Fernando, Richard and Daniel.
She is survived by: her son John Jr.; her siblings, Ruth Lopez (Art), Alenjandro (Diann Day), Gloria Balch (Ron), Raymundo Meza and Valerie Meza (Govinda Jaya); and her children, Teresa, Ruben and Pete. She is also survived by great grandchildren and friends.
Connie's hobbies included crafts, sewing and quilting, she made quilts for many family members and friends, she made aprons and masks during the pandemic.
