With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arlene Button (Chico, California), born in Bellingham, Washington, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 18, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Iverson and Justine Iverson (Anderson); her brother Luther Iverson (Everett Button); and her grandson Joshua Button. She is survived by: her children, Bruce of North Pole, AK, Dale of Maui, HI, Cheryl Vercruyssen (Daryl) of Chico, CA and Craig (Diane) of Chico, CA; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jamie Vercruyssen and Brien Irmer (Jessica); and her sister Julie Dienstein. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Faith Lutheran Church or The American Cancer Society, in the care of Newton-Bracewell Chico Funeral Home.
