He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jackie and Alan. He is survived by: his wife Susan Castillo; his children, Diana Castillo Selland and Mario Castillo; his grandchildren, Andres Godinez-Castillo, Antonio Godinez-Castillo and Olivia Castillo; his siblings-in-law, Bill Coats, Patty Jason and Maria Castillo; and his nieces and nephews, Crystal Coats, Rob Haley, Ismael Castillo, Nicolas Castillo, Melonie, Stacy, Jennifer Jason and Anthony Leach.
He worked until the start of the COVID pandemic, when the worry of exposure to the virus forced him into retirement at 85 years young.
