He was predeceased by: his wife Arleen; his son Jay; his daughter-in-law Karen; and his parents, Romulus and Helen.

He is survived by: his sons, Wayne (Margy) of Redding and Gard (Janelle) of Chico; and his brother-in-law Wally Denn (Sandy) of Willows. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
