It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Rose Mateko of Chatsworth, California, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 20, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edith Paolucci and Bismark Paolucci; her spouse Jerry Mateko; her children, Bruce Mateko of Northridge, Danny Mateko of Moorpark, Jerry Mateko of Simi Valley and Debbie Schwanke of La Quinta; her sister Susan Linn; and her grandchildren, Breanne Shaw, Cole Mateko, Taylor Mateko, Brad Mateko, Grant Mateko, Jarod Mateko, Erica Dodd, Kurt Mateko, Troy Schwanke, Tyler Schwanke and Trenton Schwanke. She was also cherished by 18 great grandchildren.

She was involved in several charity related roles with the Catholic Church.
