He was predeceased by: his wife Muts; his daughter Nancy; and his siblings, Koichi, Jim, Kikuyo, Ayano, Tamaye, Bill, Geo, Grace and Richard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Chang (Calvin) and Anne Elefante (Steve); his grandchildren, Steven Chang, Alyson Chang and Renee Elefante; and his siblings-in-law, Lillian Okamoto, Susie Nakatani and Harley Ito. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
