He is survived by: his wife Menelia Shimizu; his children, Isaac Shimizu, Jr. (Marijo) and Christine Combes (Sam); his grandchildren, Timothy, Adrianne Shimizu and Aidan Combes; and his siblings, Alvin Shimizu, Florence Yamada and Grace Breaux. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives.
