He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen T. C. Forbis and Vera Lorina Forbis; his children, Kristen Noelle and Richard Kent; and his brothers, Dan Wunderlich and Dale Forbis.
He is survived by: his wife Pat (Pat); his sons, Robert Jr., Timothy (Peggy) and Michael (Virginia); his brother Charles (Jo Ann); his sister-in-law Helen Wunderlich; and his cousin Vici Foster. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
