He was predeceased by: his parents, Evans Frank and Francis Trickey of Ceres, California.; and his siblings, Shirley Trickey Rocha, Larry Trickey, Carol Schulze and Jack Schulze.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ortiz Trickey; his children, R. Edward Trickey (Barbara) of Oceanside, Dave Trickey (Libby) of Bakersfie Id, Linda Trickey Irwin (David) of Plano, Texas, John McLendon, Jr. (Caroline) of Modesto and Barb Hopkins (Jeffrey) of Turlock; and his siblings, Barry Trickey, Janet Schulze Ford and Brent Schulze. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
