He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Marchy Sr. and Mary Muller Marchy; his wife Helen Bleisch; his son Stephen; and his brothers, Lenard Marchy and Frank Ruegg.

He is survived by: his children, Dolores Padilla (Jim) of Tennessee, Leo Marchy, Rick Marchy (Bernice), Dan Marchy of Modesto and Theresa Neugebauer (Rick) of McArthur. He is also survived by Papa Louie was blessed with 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
