He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Bartels Sr. and Lena Ingles; and his wife Irma Schroeter. He is survived by: his children, Janet Castor (Dennis) of Tulare and Franklin Bartels (Catherine) of Hinckley. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
