He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Howard and Effie Howard; his wife Barbara Howard; his brother Kenny Howard; his son Rick Howard; and his niece Wendy Roberts-Becker.

He is survived by: his daughter LeeAnn Moring; and his children-in-law, Randy and Debbie Howard (Charlotte Roberts). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. 1 nephew, and 3 nieces.
