It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carlo Cortopassi of Castroville, California, who passed away on December 15, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paolino Cortopassi and Rita Cortopassi; and his sisters, Lena Polloni and Cleta Albiani. He is survived by: his wife Anna; his friend Rosella Salarpi; his brother Giorgio of Massarosa; his children, Paul Cortopassi (Stefani) and Cindy Stefani (Greg); his grandchildren, Ashley Stefani, Nathan Cortopassi (Maize), Gregory Stefani and Kevin Cortopassi; and his great grandchild Niko Cortopassi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid restrictions, the funeral mass will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the music department of Our Lady of Refuge Church, in Castroville, The Castroville Rotary Scholarship Fund, or The American Diabetes Association.
