He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Barber and Elizabeth Barber of Caruthers, California.; his significant other Velma; his children, Gary Barber, Karen Hooven, Nancy Klassen and Mark Hooven; and his brother Charles Barber (Shirley). He was also cherished by brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
