She was predeceased by: her parent Vestal Davis; her husband Dimetri John Varelas; and her brother Elmer Davis. She is survived by: her parent Lois Estep Davis; her sons, Kenny Sawyer (Janie) of Asheville and Dean Alan Sawyer of Asheville; her granddaughters, Alyssa Justine Sawyer, Sarah Ann Sawyer and Samantha Lou Sawyer; her great grandchild Aiden; her siblings, Mary Alice Shook (Ron) of Asheville, Katherine Varelas (Vasili) of Orlando, FL and Monroe Davis (Gladys) of Aquone; and her sisters-in-law, Karen Davis of Greenville, SC and Angela "Angel" Varelas of Carson, CA. She is also survived by wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
