She is survived by: her significant other David Naranjo; her son David Gonzales (Andrea); her grandson Matthew; her children, Armando Champagne and Viviana Champagne; and her siblings, Tomas Castelo, Frank Castelo and Norma Davis.

She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2011.
