He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Olivas and Elisa Olivas; his daughter Patricia; and his siblings, Robert, Sophie and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie Olivas; and his children, Alfred (Elinor), Christina (David), Paul (Isolde), Dale and Trina. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
