She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Albin Anderson and Lydia Anderson; her children, Denice Murphy (George), Paul Zacher (Lynn) and Cameon Krotine (Dave); her grandchildren, Melanie Gross (Lonn), Cameon Kia, Corey (Danielle), Keoki Murphy, Cameron (Karly), Jordan Zacher, Brian, Tommy, Daniel and Claire Krotine; her great grandchildren, Raine, River Sato, Josiah, Camaiah Kia, Merrick and Makai Murphy; her brother Alton Swan Anderson; and her husband Kenneth.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Penny's name to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (Sacramento) General Fund or Library.
