He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Alexander and Lillian Alexander; his sisters, Barbara Hoggs and Sylvia Winbush; his son Andrew; and his great grandchild Brielle.
He is survived by: his wife Heidi Alexander; his brothers, Mark Alexander (Cheryl) and Timothy Alexander; his children, Patricia Alexander, Candis Yeldell, Teddi Alexander and Mitchell Alexander Jr.; his grandchildren, Nicole, Steven, Lawrence Jr., Adrian, Tia, Gabrielle, Caden and Solara; and his great grandchildren, Julian and Amari. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
