It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Marie Grassi (Carmichael, California), born in Sacramento, California, who passed away on September 15, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Marogna and Mary Marogna (Oreb); her sister Bernice Keeler; her son-in-law Michael H. Chaney; and her brothers-in-law, Bill Keeler, Bob Grassi (Babe), John Grassi and Lockwood Vogeli.
She is survived by: her husband Peter G. Grassi; her sister-in-law Mary Vogeli; her children, Greg (Lois), Peter M., Susan Formanek (Roger) and Linda Chaney Beirne (Bill); her grandchildren, Angela Grassi Popoff (Ivan), Toni Grassi Enright (Dan), Peter A. Grassi (Corinna), Rebecca Formanek Furman (Josh), Blake Formanek, Kelly, Will, Stephen (Alyssa) and Michael Beirne; and her great grandchildren, Viktor, Anna, Maksim Popoff, Michael, Kaitlyn, Colin Enright, Courtney, Kennedy Rouse, Candice, Lily Grassi, Milo, Felix and Lucy Beirne. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
