He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ford Culpepper and Helen Henderson Culpepper Dedman; and his sister Roberta Donovan. He is survived by: his sisters, Nancy Furman (George) and Carol Heikkila (Brian). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, as a tribute to Erle's love of children and education, Katie is setting up a college fund for a young relative.
