He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Perry. He is survived by: his wife Serena; his children, Durron, Deon (Jess), Danna, Jon (Heather), Tanecia, Jade and Harmony; his father John Gaines; his sister Stephon; and his nieces and nephews, Saniyyah, Tayvion and Jamarion.
In lieu of flowers, family has requested that donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
