Katherine E. Laiolo Obituary

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Shaughnessy and Delia Hernon Shaughnessy; her husband Barney Laiolo; her brother Reverend John Hernon Shaughnessy; her niece Mary Kay Hall (Joe) of Lexington, KY; her nephew J. Michael Speakman (Lyn); her stepsons, Antonio Laiolo of Nashville, TN, Christopher Laiolo of Pacific Grove, CA. and Barney; her great grandchildren, Elora Louise Evans and Elliot Rao Lindsay; her cousins, Peter Cannon, Brendan Cannon, MaryAnne Forde and Padhraic Faherty; her nieces, Toni, Michelle, Carla, Maria, Nikki, Didi Maillard, Geno Laiolo (Marianne) and Ellen Starkey; and also, Marylily Shaughnessy Speakman, Bryn Laiolo Evans (Daryl), Cara Laiolo Becker (Kraig), Lauren Laiolo Lindsay (Chris) and George Laiolo. She was also cherished by extended family and many friends.

Elinor was dedicated to preserving and enhancing Carmel history and charm, and actively participated in Carmel's civ ic and social life, She served as president of the Carmel chapter of Red Cross, and as a board member of the Carmel Foundation.
