She was predeceased by: her son Ronald Lee Koontz; her brothers, Guy Lawrence Padgett Jr. and James Benjamin Padgett; her granddaughter Connie Elizabeth Rosner; her great grandchild Audrey Barragan; her stepgranddaughter Addison Haney; and her parents, Guy "Padge" Lawrence Padgett and Cornelia Henrietta Padgett (Jacobson).

She is survived by: her husband Michael Thomas Knott; her children, Kris Koontz (Helen), Karl "Alan" Koontz (Nancy) and Karen Lynn Harvick; and her stepdaughter Katie Haney. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandsons.
