He was predeceased by: his father William M. Flater Helen Byers (Margot); his sister Ann Newell; and his pet Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Shaun Flater (Laura) of Carlsbad, CA and Alison Palasciano (Thomas) of Poway, CA.; his grandchildren, Asher and Romy Flater; his sister Mary Fruscione (Santo) of Lewiston, NY; his niece Susan Holtz (Paul) of Gilbert, AZ; and his pet Chewy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.
