She was predeceased by: her parents, Chaim Cohen and Belle Cohen; her former husband Irving Balto; her daughter Carol; and her sister Mae Tanick.
She is survived by: her children, David Balto (Naomi), Joan Hoffman (Ron), Ron Balto (Karen) and Lori Barnett (Michael); her great grandchildren, Gilly Barnes, Samuel, Kayci Balto, Lev, Gil Balto, Brandon Barnett, Shana, Noah Johnson, Siena Johnson, Bailee Barnett, Daniel Balto, Amy Balto, Susan Balto, Jennifer Balto and Annie Balto; and her cousins, Helen and Morris Toretsky (Corrine). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
