She was predeceased by: her siblings, Guice and Maggie. She is survived by: her parents, Henry Guice Tinsley and Effie Margaret Tinsley; her sons-in-law, Ukraine and Russia; her children, Lisa King of Escondido, Margaret King, Rob King and Phil King; and her grandchild Georgie. She is also survived by her daughter bring home adopted grandchildren. For many years, she enjoyed the loving companionship of Robert A. Wood, a fellow teacher, who died in 2003. Throughout her life, Georgie remained closely involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren.
Donations in her name can be made to the American Civil Liberties Union.A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m.
