He was predeceased by: his son Christian; and his parents, Lou Heitzig and Agnes Heitzig. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his son Gregory; his brothers, Rick (Libby) and Skip (Lenya); and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Rodda (Jim) and Sondra O'Halloran (Joe). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
