She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Lantz; her son James; and her brother Eugene Podlasek. She is survived by: her children, Lori (Ron Nelson), Peggy, Tom (Karen) and Mary Shewmaker (Jeff); and her sisters, Virginia Novitsky and Carol Podlasek. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.
