She was predeceased by: her son Matthew Brown. She is survived by: her husband Eugene Brown (Gene) of Peculiar; her daughters, Peggy Johnston (Brown) and Janet Rohrer (Brown); her children-in-law, Mike Johnston, Dan Rohrer and Lauren Brown; her grandchildren, Adam, Madelyn Brown, Patrick Smith, Kristine and Daniel Johnston; her great grandchild Orion Brown; and her nieces, Kimberly Cox and Karen Kain. She is also survived by her half-brothers and sister.
In lieu of flowers, the family has chosen Alzheimer's Association of America and Cure Alzheimer's Fund to honor Barbara's legacy.
