He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his children, Peggy and Paul; and his grandson Andrew. He is survived by: his parents, Lorena Perkins (Freeman) and Willie Perkins; his daughters, Susan Hook of Boise, ID and Cybil Perkins of Manhattan, KS; and his foster daughter Letticia DeLuna. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be sent to Cambria Anonymous Neighbors or the American Legion Post 432.
