He was predeceased by: his father Richard Nevarez. He is survived by: his mother Tillie Nevarez; his wife Cheryl of Camarillo; his siblings, Frank, Robert and Carole; his niece Rebecca; his nephew Joseph; and his stepsons, Andy and Tim True. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many friends.
