He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Juliette Dang; his children, Bernard and Bernadette Capulong; his stepdaughters, Valerie and Joceline Lam (Orlando); his parents, Benito Cano Capulong and Marcela Yumul Trinidad; and his former wife Frencelina Pekson.
Furthermore, the family requests in lieu of flowers and other gifts as an expression of sympathy that a charitable donation be made in Orlando's memory to the National Teachers College in Manila, Philippines (https://ntc.edu.ph).
