He was predeceased by: his parents, Kiuzo Nakada and Kamako Nakada; his brother Nakada Nursery; his wife Barbara; and his brother Bob (Sally).
He is survived by: his stepchildren, David Boublis (Liz), Karen Boublis and Deanne Boublis (Allen); his grandchildren, Hannah Overdevest (Bas) and Jacob Boublis; his stepchildren, Brian, Dennis Slivick (Sarah), Jonah Price (Kaitlyn), Miranda and Arianna Tarquinio; and his sister Lily Okumura. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
