She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son John; her parents, Thomas Crawford and Lucy Crawford; her sister Jennie; her husband John Lescher; her daughter Patricia Jean; and her nephew Rob. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
In 1971 Caroline enter DOD Civil Service and the Point Mugu Weapons Department as a decorated member of the team developing the Laser Guided Bomb systems, and retired in 1995 with the Award of Merit for her accomplishments and contributions to the program, earning the final rank of GS-13.
