With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Pesl (Calexico, California), born in Brawley, California, who passed away on September 10, 2018 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Pesl and Caroline Pesl; his brother Dale Pesl; his stepgrandfather Clarence Fischer; his aunt Joe LeClerq; his uncle Nita LeClerq; and his parents-in-law, Pedro Alvarado and Frances Alvarado.

He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Pesl; his children, Marsa Hansen (Rod), Gordon "Sonny" Pesl (Janet) of Salinas, Tracy Pesl, Lisa Alvarado and Kristina Costa; his grandchildren, Zach, Jenna, Jerod, Olivia, Tyler, Samantha, Cecilia, Andrew and Matthew; and also The Dune. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
