He was predeceased by: his siblings, Yokichi Tashiro, Lily Yamamoto, Haru Tashiro, Haruo Tashiro, Shizu Minami and Manabu Tashiro.

He is survived by: his sisters, Reiko Kageyama and Aiko Takeda; and his children, Eileen Tashiro and Brian Tashiro (Mary). He is also survived by three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
