He is survived by: his wife Diana Lapis; his daughter Alexandra Shapiro; his son-in-law Felix Shapiro; his grandchildren, Sophia Shapiro and Melina Shapiro; his son Nika; his daughter-in-law Karen Bocaling Lapis; his grandson Abram Lapis; and his brother Dr. Victor Lyapis.
