He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Francis; his brother Monsignor John O'Friel; his wife Josie; his children, Patrick (Muffy), Myra (Emily), Michelle (Dave) and Clare (Elena); his grandchildren, Sean, Patrick, Liam and Gabrielle; his cousin Bridget Friel; his brothers, Leo and Frank; and his pet Alfie. He was also cherished by many cousins nieces and nephews.
