She was predeceased by: her husband James "Mickey" Townson; her son Scott; her parents, Bernard Jessen and Margaret Jessen; and her brother-in-law Jim Benson.
She is survived by: her sons, Pat Townson (Kim) and Tim Townson (Robin); her daughter-in-law Sue Townson; her sister Anna Jessen; her children, Troy Benson (Melissa) and Amy Benson; and her grandchildren, Jamie Townson (Kathryn), Josh Townson (Heather), Jacob Townson (Ashley), Heather Steele (Michael), Hollie Stevenson (Matthew), McKenzie Townson (Eduardo), Seth Townson, Shauna Cannon (Craig) and Lacy Butler. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, numerous other nieces, nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Peoria Baptist Church (1345 Farm to Market Rd 1947, Hillsboro, TX 76645).
