He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pete Gallanis and Vasiliki Gallanis (Panagos); his wife Mary Arvanitis; his grandchildren, Bessie, Nicholas Politis (Marianna), Pete, Danica Gallanis (Andreas), Patricia and James Mentas (Anthony); and his sister Katina Spiro. He was also cherished by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Saint Sophia Philoptochos Society or to the Saint Anthony Building Fund in his name.
