She was predeceased by: her husband Herman Soto; her daughter Carolyn Soto; her parents, Crescentio Escobedo and Josefina Escobedo; and her son-in-law Rudy Gutierrez.

She is survived by: her daughter Linda Gutierrez. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandshildren, and one great great grandchild.
