“I just learned of John's passing. I remember many meaningful & thoughtful worship services at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Burbank. John was instrumental in leading the congregation into more progressive practices. Sometimes this was painful for church members however John always had a positive outlook and encouraged the church family to trust in the Lord and not be afraid to move forward and face new challenges. He was an inspirational pastor, strong role model & friend. Debbie Fleiner”
