She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Brown and Alma Brown. She is survived by: her husband Arnold Doepel; her children, Janet Monroe (Matt), Linda Doepel and James B. Doepel; her daughter-in-law Maria Noriega Doepel; her grandchildren, James A. Doepel (Kristine), Andrea Doepel (Joseph M. Meservey), Garrett Monroe, Dillon Monroe, Bryan Doepel (Stephanie) and Elise Monroe; her great grandchildren, Austin Doepel, Lydia Doepel, Joseph A. Meservey and Aria Doepel; and her siblings, Marjory Beekman (Bill), Bill Brown (Elena) and Robert Brown (Christa). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Inspiration Chapel at Oakmont Memorial Park (2099 Reliez Valley Rd, Lafayette, CA 94549). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
