He is survived by: his wife Lori Nicholas Koontz; his children, Brynne Mixon (Jonathan) and Kenneth Thomas Nicholas "Nick"; his grandson Ryan Christopher Mixon; his daughter Gracie; his brother-in-law Larry Bowers (Kasey); his nieces and nephews, Ely, Loee and Mack; his siblings-in-law, Dink Thompson and Cindi; his father-in-law Ed Nicholas (Nancy); his goddaughter Alexandria Calogrides; and his friends, James, Vivian Smith and Cindy Calogrides.
