He was predeceased by: his parents, Genevive M. Frake and Howard M. Stewart; his sister Sally S. Hiles; and his son Howard David Stewart, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Margarita Stewart; his children, Angela Ringelberg (Wayne), Michael Stewart (Jessie), Mark Stewart (Khristie) and Jennifer Conrad (Geoffrey); his grandchildren, Cain, Brian, Landon, Aubrey, Nathan, Lindsey, Wesley, Jack, Gabel, Macie, Dillan, Grayson, Spencer, Gavin, Anderson, Cora and Molly; and his sisters, Linda Mathers (Bubba) and Gerry Jean Clark (Butch). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
