He was predeceased by: his parents, George Doepel and Lesa Doepel; and his wife Nancy Brown Doepel. He is survived by: his children, Janet Monroe (Matt), Linda Doepel and James B. Doepel; his daughter-in-law Maria Noriega Doepel; his grandchildren, James A. Doepel (Kristine), Andrea Doepel (Joseph M. Meservey), Garrett Monroe, Dillon Monroe, Bryan Doepel (Stephanie) and Elise Monroe; his great grandchildren, Austin Doepel, Lydia Doepel, Joseph A. Meservey and Aria Doepel; and his brother George Doepel of Beaverton, OR. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Redwood Chapel at Oakmont Memorial Park (2099 Reliez Valley Rd, Lafayette, CA 94549). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
