She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Prestage; and her parents, Geneva Miller and Wyatt Miller. She is survived by: her sister Shara Linale; her daughters, Cherryl Whitson and Barbara Ono; her stepdaughter Jeannette Prestage-Layman (Ken Layman); and her grandchildren, Kristen Whitson (Gaia Lenz), Deborah Whitson, Miyuki Ono, Akira Ono and Emiko Ono.
