She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna E. Berg Bassett and George L. Bassett; her former husband Bill T Farris; her husband James Larry Johnson; and her brother John F Bassett.
She is survived by: her children, Debra L McDuffie (Michael) and Craig A Farris (Kimberly); her grandson Daniel A Farris (Stacey); her great grandchildren, Breanna D Lucas (Chad), Kennedy Farris of Waxhaw, NC, Clara Farris of Waxhaw, NC, Avery Lucas, Mackenzie Lucas and Hallie Lucas; and also, Samantha L Phillips (Corey) and Katelyn J Boyd (Austin).
