She was predeceased by: her parents, Agapito Morales Armenta and Elodia Lopez Montoy; and her siblings, Fernando Burgueno, Dora Perez (Pete), Raymond Burgueno (Sofia), Carlos Burgueno, Rudy Burgueno, Louie Burgueno and Cesar Burgueno.

She is survived by: her children, Nellie Escalera (Julian), Lupe Burgueno and Jorge Burgueno. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and many more great-grandchildren.
